A St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deputy was taken to the hospital Wednesday after a multi-vehicle crash.
It happened at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Indrio Road late Wednesday morning.
The sheriffs office, at this point, is only confirming that one of their deputies was involved.
On arrival, a WPTV crew noticed three vehicles involved. The deputy’s vehicle had serious right-side damage.
The intersection was reopened just before 12 p.m.
