Fort Pierce police, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Fort Pierce, police said.
The shooting happened in the area of North 25th Street and Avenue P on Saturday, Fort Pierce police said in a Facebook post.
Police don’t believe there is an immediate threat at this time and are urging people to avoid the area.
